Vertine beats the living soul out of Sam as he is tied to a chain.

“I did say to make a run for it. Didn’t I?” said Vertine.

“Fuck you. The first thing I’ll do when I’m off from these chains, I’m gonna kill you, you piece of shit.” Sam replied angrily.

“Now that’s the spirit.” Vertine continues to beat the living shit out of Sam.

Sam’s eyes are filled with hatred but his mind says otherwise. He is planning his escape and reassess his surroundings. Looking for something to use or be of great advantage since his hands are tied to a chain. He knows that soon after they will move him to a room where he will sleep but for now he must endure.

Vertine continues to beat him up, punching his chest, face and abdomen. Fortunately, Sam was trained for this.

DEATH The trial to Ink’s imminent death is met with harsh obstacles as Samuel must overcome the number of men and women paid by Ink to protect her life from danger. Dos pursues the assassin but is with met with more bullets from Samuel as he closes on Ink’s chambers. He weaves left and right while finishing his last round of bullets. He immediately takes out short sword from his back which was hidden. Before he could enter the last boss’s chamber, Dos is the only one left standing to oppose him. His hand bloodied and deep down he felt guilty about it but he knew it had to be done. He takes out his phone and speeds dial to an unknown number, “The owl is now in a cage.” The receiver from the other end replied, “Affirmative agent. Rendezvous at the designated location.” He throws the phone away outside the window. He makes way onto the main deck with the rest of his belongings. He prepares his escape with the ship’s safety boat. He once again stares at the gun and tries to accept the situation that he has killed a person. He took a life away. “If you cannot fix a person then don’t hurt the person.” his father said. He keeps the gun and throws away the thought of his father’s advice. ‘I am now and not before’ as he sails away from the cargo ship.
