The Future: Part 2: Nur Fira

Part 2: Nur Fira

The newly built high school next to one of the most prestigious universities, New Kuala Lumpur High School welcomes the arrivals of their students.
One student in particular, Damon Irons walks into the school premise casually while looking to his left and right.
“Where are these guys?”
“Cepatlah, kang nanti cikgu marah.”, said one student who was rushing.
“Holy crap, I’ll get scolded if I’m late again.”, as he too rushes into his class.
Damon’s homeroom teacher, Mister Daily entered the class with a gloomy look on his face. (He was always tired and seemed lazy). He normally wears a light yellow colored collar shirt with his every plain slack pants but today, he looks dressed up for clubbing; smart looking suit with a tie to go with it.
“Today, I’d like to welcome a new student who will joining in our class”, said Mister Daily as he keeps his attendance book on the teachers’ desk. He then proceeds to ask the new student to enter by waving his hand, signalling to ‘come in’.
The new student comes in and “Dear lord she looks fine as hell”, said Damon to himself.
“She just transferred from Sabah so please be kind to her.”, as Mister Daily welcomes his new student.
“Hello everyone, I am Nur Fira but you can call me Fira for short.”.
Everyone was in awe at her beauty, well just the boys who were at awe at her beauty. The girls however were either about to eat her alive or happy that another female student is in the class. Fira has a very fair complexion and she is quite tall for a girl of her age. She could almost match Damon in terms of height. An added bonus to her physical appearance is that her personality seems so lady-like. Grace and fragile. She also seems sport a copper-brownish hair color. Class 4-2 has about 3 to 1 ratio with the boys being the majority of the lot.
“Fira you can take a sit beside Damon behind there.”, said Mister Daily as he points her the seat.
She makes her way gracefully to her seat while all eyes were on her.
“Now then kids, lets get back to business”, said Mister Daily.
Fira took her seat and tries to make herself more comfortable by bringing out her utensils and textbook.
Damon tried to get attention but after a few attempts he managed to got through, “Pssttt... Hey.. Hey.. Fira? Psst... You can call me Damon.”
Fira then replied, “It’s best if we focus first. We can chit chat later.”, with a smile along with it.
Just moments after the school bell rang, students quickly make their way to the canteen to get their food earlier before the others could. Damon then continued to make a good impression on the new student.
“Where were we? Oh yeah! Okay, you can call me Damon and I assume I can only call you Fira unless you want me to call you by your full name?”, he said.
“Fira is fine. You sure are active.”
“Yeah, I kinda get that a lot but hey since there’s a new student so I might as well be friendly, right?”.
Fira arranges her stuff neatly on her table before heading out of the class. Damon was right beside her asking her tons of questions regarding about her transfer and most of her answers are:
“My family decided to move into the big city.”
He then goes on about the Naturals going crazy and that the cops are taking aggressive actions regarding the matter. He also added in his experience at the bank days before where he witnessed a metallic man robbed the bank and was taken out by a girl on fire.
“I mean seriously, isn’t it cool to have powers. Wish I had one”, said Damon to Fira while chewing his sweet bun.
“Your point is?”
“All I’m saying is, not all Naturals are bad guys plus some of them live normal lives but I wished I had a power like them though.”
“People will just look at you in fear knowing you have powers. Do you seriously want that to accompany you for the rest of life?”
“If it’s a price I’m willing to pay then why not.”, he continues eating his sweet bun.
After school has ended, Fira was nowhere to be seen soon after. It was as if she disappeared in a blink of an eye.

“Was just about to hangout with her. Oh well.”, was what Damon thought.

Dagger: Chapter Three

Chapter 3 Ariam was convinced the trances of various locations and visions of large creatures in colossal size tearing up the heavens, opening a vast portal to enter this realm to wreck destruction and death meant something significant with Sajib’s plan. The dream felt vivid and real, it felt like a looming definite future that was for sure abound to happen if she did not do anything to stop it.             Obadiah was glad when she woke up, and now without further due, he stood in front of Ariam who sat up on the captain’s bed, rubbing her eyes, and then he started shouting, “What the hell were you thinking? You could have died! And what then?! You risked your life just to save this idiot.” Obadiah went on for quite a bit tearing Ariam’s ears off in the process, while Bernard in the other hand thanked and apologized to her.             The captain’s cabin, where the four of them were in was considerably more impressive and cleaner than any part of the ship. Kid Against The World: Four

Chapter Four Remember, you can’t love somebody without losing a part of yourself. I drive calmly in this rundown sad excuse of an automobile, I don’t know where we are going, but I’m feeling electric tonight with her by my side. We pull down the windows, and let the wind enter, her hand is out, making waves out of it, whistling a tune she is common with. I am very certain that I am nervous, being in a car with her. I mean I used Pabil’s car before, and he is cool with it, so I’m not anxious about that. It’s the fact that I’m in the same car with this Goddess, that’s making my heart beat racing like a Formula One race car.  We are closing in to the city now; Kuala Lumpur at night is just superb. Forget Paris; forget New York or London, Melbourne, none of that could compare the rawness of Kuala Lumpur. The bikers riding the roads, the homeless trying to get some food, the youth falling in and out of love, all happen under the sleepless nights of this city. She takes a can of be

Gratitude and Appreciation

The months of getting paycheck to paycheck has kept me busy but most importantly has helped built my character in the real world. It's not all shine and glory but it has its moments where I'm proud of. In the year 2018, I decided that I had to leave something behind and till this day (or any other day before this post is published), I thought to myself, 'Was that the right thing to do?'. I got a lot of support from my partner and I know that it will take some time for me to adjust back into society. I wasted no time in looking for jobs and felt that I might not be good enough when it comes to working but everyone has to start from somewhere. I told myself that working in the sales line would be the fastest way to learn something and I set my sights on jobs that had sales in the job scope. I got a job but that was short lived as there were internal factors that hinders my progression or not being able see myself in that company that would help in my growth. As a res
