A news headline shows:

NATURAL THREAT CRISIS AVERTED, NKLPD PAYS ULTIMATE PRICE

Young rushed into the burning building but to no avail because the heat was too much for her. She shouted for help but almost everyone was in panic. Her comrades were either injured or dead during the scene. The NRD agent, Pennie assisted Young by activating the water system around the streets. Huge number of manholes were forced open because of the washing gushing out from it. The water was then directed to the burning building by another Natural who was a water user. He too was an NRD agent named Akuparl.

     “Is there anyone inside?”, asked Pennie.

     “My partner is inside. Save him please!”, she said while in shocked.

     “I will. Call in Patient Zero now. I need his help.”, Pennie asked for backup.

A group of NRD agents exited their vehicle and out comes a man who was around his 20s. The agents gave Zero his mission and suddenly he teleports away from their vehicle.

     (Zoop) Zero shows up beside Pennie.

     “There are still people trapped inside there. Look for survivors that is your only mission now.”, said Pennie.

     “Yes miss.”, he teleports away again but this time into the burning building. Zero activates his NRD custom suit which could endure heat. He looks around but no one was alive. He zoops away again from the scene but unfortunately most of the people in the building were either dead or toast. He pushes himself to teleport quickly to multiple location in the burning building and was shocked to discovered that Damon was still breathing. Nuway however was in a bad shape.

     “Miss, I’ve found two survivors. The others are dead.”, said Zero.

     “Bring them out.”, said Pennie.

Both the brothers were still unconscious when Zero brought them out. Young was happy that her partner made it out. She had almost all signs of hope when the building exploded.

     Pennie was surprised when she saw Damon was almost completely unharmed even after what he went through.

     “Marsha, I think you need to see this.”

     “Why Pennie?”, Marsha asked.

     “You wouldn’t believe what I just saw.”

Damon’s slowly heals the burnt areas on his body.

From a distance a girl on fire was flying to the burning building. She deactivated her fire form to get a better view of what happened on one of the building’s roof. It was none other than Fira who was the girl on fire. She saw a bunch of NRD agents were trying to secure the premise. She even spotted Damon who was taken in by the agents into one of their MedVec.

     “Shit. Is Damon alright?”, she asked Sebastian Sabre through telepathy.

     “I can’t get a clear look on your friend. I’m sure he’s fine if he’s in the MedVec.”, he replied.

     “Those are NRD MedVecs. He could be a Natural like us.”, said Fira who was worried.

     “Don’t you dare do it. Don’t take the risk Fira.”, said Sebastian.

     “I’m sorry Sebastian but he’s my friend. I’m going in.”, Fira activated her Full Form, her body was coated in flames. She flies down to rescue her friend but Akuparl who was nearby the MedVec used his powers to create a massive water wall.

     “Shit.”, said Fira.

     “Ho? Aren’t you the infamous girl on fire.”, said Akuparl.

     Fire replied, “So what if I am?”

     “I got no choice but to take you in dear. You’ve caused a lot of problems for us lately.”, Akuparl replied. The NRD agents backed him up by shooting stun rounds at Fira. She obviously dodged those measly rounds with ease.

     “Get away from me!”, Fira used a flamethrower technique on Akuparl but his water power was more powerful than hers.

     “Get out from there Fira, fight another day. That guy has training and you can’t fight water with fire.”, said Sebastian. Fira had no choice but to flee the scene.

     “That’s what I thought little girl.”, said Akuparl.

The NRD drove Damon and his brother away from the scene to get immediate medical attention. In the MedVec, Damon almost came to but was too exhausted to even say something. His hands however slowly healed. A miracle.
