Sex, Guns and Words: Five

FIVE
It was a cloudy day out in the local park. He took out his book and his favorite pen, he scribbled notes of things he saw. People, dog, trees, cloud, sun, grass, cars, bicycles - things he observed.
He noticed a lady sitting by the bench area, he wanted to go talked to her which he did so. His straightforward personality made it easier for him. The respondent however, might not be so straightforward as he is.
He got up slowly, packed his stuff in his sling bag and went to where the lady was.
"Hello there beautiful," a friendly tone.
"What's a beautiful lady like you doing out here alone?" He asked.
“Trying to finish this book.” she looks at him with suspicion.
“What’s the book about?” he asked.
“Just your regular romance story about a boy meets girl kind of thing.”
“You’re into those kind of stuff eh?” as he takes a book out from his bag.
He gives the lady a good look at the book.
“I’m not much of a reader but I read once in a while.”
She looks at him with this sense of comfortability. She stops reading for a moment as they continue on with their conversation.
“So what’s a handsome guy like you doing out here?” she asked.
“Inspiration. I don’t have anything - I don’t know what to write about.”
“I could be that said inspiration.”
He enters his mind and thought to himself, “GOD damn I like where this is going.” He is pushing the right chat options here. Not wanting to push his luck even further he goes slow with the choice of words that comes out next.
They have been talking for so long that they forgot to introduce each other.
“I didn’t get your name earlier. How do I call address you?” she asked.
“It’s Sam. Everyone calls me Sam and how do I address you fair lady?” he asked.
“You can call me Elizabeth.”
“It’s almost night time, would you join me for dinner?” he asked politely.
“Sure, why not. You’re starting to grow on me.” she said.
It takes only a few minutes to truly know a person - by the way they dress, speak, sit and stand. He covered most of it or rather all of it.
They went to a local Middle Eastern restaurant not too far from where they were. They skim through the menu, looking for something unique to eat. Elizabeth suggested the famous shawarma which has tendered bits of skewered chicken, garlic puree and salad wrapped with pita. Elizabeth ordered the chicken kabsa which is generally a chicken rice but with an Arabic twist.
As they chew down their dinner, Elizabeth opened up a little more by saying, “I’m living alone.”
He thought to himself, ‘Is this a signal or something?’He paused for a more a while, thinking of what to say.
“We could go to your place after dinner, if you don’t mind.”
She did not reply soon after as she continued eating her food. She looks at him with an intent on eating him up. The way her lips moved, the way her eyes swayed and the way she handled her eating utensils sent off a signal of lust. She invited him to into her world.
He too was looking at her, noticing her every facial expressions and her intentions. The table was getting heated up. The atmosphere too was getting heated up. The restaurant itself was getting heated up. The fans were blowing way too slow.
They finished up their dinner as soon as possible for there was only passion in their eyes - the man and the woman.
“Shall we?”
“I think we shall.” she replied.

Wish, I

Wish, I By Christian (a short and rushed story)   PART ONE A distant place, I rather not call home - I chose to be back here even after all is said and done. I could still hear the calls and whispers, are they a distant memory buried deep inside? ‘No, it’s not dear.’ a feminine voice echoes. I look at how solemn it gets wishing it could have been more - more than it is now. The embrace of your touch on my hair. Each morning greeted with a smile from the side of the bed.  ‘Dear, are you done? We’re about to be late.’ ‘Hold on honey, just grabbing something from the wardrobe.’ Shayne scurries. The wife starts the car while waiting for her loving partner to exit the house, she shuffles the radio to settle the mood. As soon as he gets out, he cannot wonder what else he forgot but the thought was brushed as soon as he opened the car door.  ‘What were you even looking for?’ ‘It’s a surprise honey.’ While driving to their destination, Shayne is talking vica

Dagger: Chapter Three

Chapter 3 Ariam was convinced the trances of various locations and visions of large creatures in colossal size tearing up the heavens, opening a vast portal to enter this realm to wreck destruction and death meant something significant with Sajib’s plan. The dream felt vivid and real, it felt like a looming definite future that was for sure abound to happen if she did not do anything to stop it.             Obadiah was glad when she woke up, and now without further due, he stood in front of Ariam who sat up on the captain’s bed, rubbing her eyes, and then he started shouting, “What the hell were you thinking? You could have died! And what then?! You risked your life just to save this idiot.” Obadiah went on for quite a bit tearing Ariam’s ears off in the process, while Bernard in the other hand thanked and apologized to her.             The captain’s cabin, where the four of them were in was considerably more impressive and cleaner than any part of the ship. Time is a motionless entity that God himself have no power upon, For time breathes differently than us, It moves consistently ever flowing without the regard of our petty human presence, Time is almighty – to control time is to control all.
